| Subject: Rumored Low-Cost iPhone Colored Back Panel Images Surface Mon Jul 01, 2013 1:20 pm | |
| Recently released pictures appear to show a variety of plastic back panels for the rumored low-cost iPhone, displayed in bright colors that are a major shift from the current black and white models. The images were released by Nowhereelse.fr and appear to show the back panels in green, red and yellow. The parts show Apple’s logo, the iPhone brand logo, space for a camera lens, LED flash, and a rear-facing microphone. Aside from being made of plastic and offering a slew of new colors, the parts appear to have a similar form factor to the current iPhone 5, including a taller display than previous models. This fits in with rumors that speculate that the low-cost iPhone will stick with the same 4-inch display as the iPhone 5. The designs seem to match up with previously leaked schematics and the red and the yellow colors would correspond with the current color options for the iPod Touch, with the exception of the green model. Apple does offer the iPod nano and iPod shuffle in green variants though, which is why the colors may have some truth to them. Ultimately, we’ll have to wait for more concrete evidence though. |
