Sony has released a teaser trailer for a new flagship Xperia smartphone which may be called the Xperia Z1.

It's believed the phone will offer an improved 20 megapixel camera and will likely debut alongside new lens attachments that are iPhone-compatible.

Sony is holding an event on September 4th where it will unveil the new device.
