| According to Bloomberg's Adam Satariano, Apple has hired former Yves Saint Laurent CEO Paul Deneve. He will reportedly report to CEO Tim Cook on "special projects" with no affiliation with retail (as speculated earlier). Yves Saint Laurent is a luxury fashion brand and retailer, so it is a bit strange to see him in the tech industry. Saint Laurent, previously known as YSL, just announced today that Deneve would be replaced at the beginning of September by Francesca Bellettini of Bottega Veneta, and that its creative director Hedi Slimane would take on new responsibility concerning "all strategic projects for the brand."Since 1997 Deneve has managed companies in the fashion industry including Courreges, Nina Ricci, Lanvin and finally YSL.
